Don Justo Takayama
A MAN WHO REJECTED NOBILITY AND CHOSE TO FOLLOW CHRIST
Born in 1552 during the bloody sengoku period in fuedal Japan, Justo Takayama fought alongside his father in many battles in order to secure their family position as Daimyo. However, when Christianity became outlawed in Japan, Dom Justo held firmly to his faith saying that he would rather give up all that he owned including his land.
We are a small team of researchers, editors, writers, artists and catholics dedicated to spreading awareness to the Catholic community about the life of Justo Takayama and to reach others and inspire them to share in his devotion to the faith.
Our goal is to create a community that follows in the footsteps of blessed Takayama to show others the light of Christ and to teach by example.
As a nonprofit, we rely on donations to help keep the lights on.
Every gift helps us to continue our work.
